Hello,
This item will be very very usefull as 5DII 5DIII FS700 and RED all use this cable type. But one thing here is sad and this is the lenght, both 20 and 30 cm will be too short to be usable, as the ultimate goal is to remove as much as possible the visible cable to make the gimbal neat and free of wire, adding a short cable will force to make it pass direct from the cam to the aux screen. So the best thing would be a 70 or 80 cm hdmi hyperthin cable so we can make it fish through the structure. .I would buy 5 if you have 70cm and more ready to sell!
Dominic,
We are testing longer lengths but shielding is a problem with flat ribbon cables when it comes to long cables. We will try our best to make it long as possible.
Alright thank you, sorry for the duplicated post, you can delete the second I don’t see how.
As for the cable length, could it be easier if you simply make a video only hdmi? I mean, no audio in it, thanks
