Setting up camera and frame IMU
Alexmos Tiny Pro Conntroller comes with 2 IMUs. One that’s built-in to the controller itself and an external IMU which is included in the package. By default both IMUs are configured as Camera IMUs.
Here’s how to setup the IMUs in the following configuration
- Built-in IMU as the frame IMU
- External IMU as the camera IMU
Step 1
Remove power before continuing – Battery or USB
Use a sharp knife, example an Xacto Knife and locate the bridge labeled ADDR. You will notice there’s a hairline connection bridging two pads. Carefully cut the bridge using the knife.
This will make
- External IMU – Frame IMU
- Built-in IMU – Camera IMU
Step 2
Connect the controller to the GUI, under Advanced tab check Swap main and frame sensors
Now the external IMU will function as the Camera IMU and the built-in IMU as the Frame IMU
